How to copy a module?

We used 2SIC (7.2.3) to display about 10 chapters of (many) legal rules. .
In order to display a new version of those rules, we need to ‘copy’ those 10 chapters, so the customer can edit those (leaving the current regulations as is) and have ‘m standby for the moment to publish.
I tried:
  • Add an existing module: this will just add the app-module but without content
  • Copy page: the ‘copy content’ checkbox is greyed out and is not supported
  • Partail export of the module and import that in a new instance of the module: this imports just the references to the existing content. Editting the content in the new module edits the content in the existing module as well which is to be untouched.
Any ideas on how this can work?

Here's my quick recommendation
  1. Add a new module of your type
  2. Then instead of editing the content, use the replace button
  3. In the replace dialog, select the original items in the drop-down...
  4. ...and press the copy-button beside that to create a copy
ok?

I used the content module
When I hit the replace button and select the ID that I want, I don't see a 'copy button'

Sorry about that - you need 2sxc 8 for the copy feature :)

This seems to go well. Many thanx!
