What happened to the WSIYWIG DNN Default option?

Mar 14, 2016 at 9:31 AM
is the text type WSYWIG DNN default option no longer supported?

It was in previous version but not the last two I have upgraded

I was planning on using this module but the one customer I rolled it out for has already rung numerous times asking what this ADAM stuff and why the WSYWIG editor is different than the default. If I am going to use it in the long run it needs to support whatever providers I use for DNN.

It's still there - just a different input-type on the string-field.

the options in the dropdown for string are:

Default (one line/multiline)
Drop-down
wysiwig editor (recommended)
wysiwig full (not recomended)
URL path
Font-icon Picker

wyswig editor if the non-dnn ones
wyswig full just shows a placeholder message where the field would be below

This would be an advanced, configurable WYSIWIG. It does not exist yet :).

I cant find any other options or confuration I am running the latest version 8.3.6

This is strange - you should see

WYSIWYG -DNN Standard
WYSIWYG TinyMCE

Am I correct that you don't see them?

BTW: pls open an issue in github if you are missing these - we don't usually monitor the discussions on codeplex and codeplex doesn't notify us correctly when things happen here.
