what to do if you have DNN object qualifier enabled?

Howdy...

We have a DNN site we've been running since v6 which uses the object qualifier setting. We really want to use your tool, but apparently object qualifier is verbotten.

Are there options for installations like us?

Thanks.

I'm sorry but there isn't. You should clean your installation to get rid of this - which is not an easy exercise - or export/import into a new DNN - which is also not exactly easy. Sorry :(

I believe they will get rid of this qualifier in DNN 8 or next as it often causes problems, but this is just the history we have :(.

Thanks. Looks like pain now or pain later. :-P

One thing I did notice was the iFinity URL Master installed using it's own "object qualifier": ifty_. Looks like we could route around that if needed.

Thoughts?

Don't have any thoughts to that. Often a developer starts when he/she isn't very good yet, and does things because "they like it that way". So such "vanity" qualifier could be anything.
