PAge URL when using tokens

I am pretty new to DNN and @sxc.

I have an "single item" page and the parent page is a "item listing" page.

The tokens have worked great so far but I need to link the items on the listing page to their respective pages.
Each item has a "read more" link and I was wondering if there is a token that can help me with that.

If there is no token can someone point me in the right direction of what is the best way to do this?

What I usually do is pass the EntityId of the item to the second page using a querystring variable. Then, the second page can use it to retrieve the entity.

Thanks for the quick response.

Theoretically that makes sense to me but I have no idea of how to execute this in DNN. Could you give a quick example or a walk through the steps to accomplish that?

Keep in mind I have only known DNN for a couple of weeks.

Your "Read More" link, however you construct is would have something like ?item=@Content.EntityId appended to it.

The second page can retrieve the querystring, and get the entity. That would be in your Razor script on the second page. I'm pretty sure that this is coverend in the 2sxc docs regarding data sources, but am not able to look it up now.

Awesome, Thanks!

I have only used the tokens so far so I will read up on the Razor templates.
